Testimonial

“As a father, I know all too well the outstanding work that Missing People do 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Missing People’s dedication to finding, reconnecting and supporting people who are/have been missing or affected by missing is incredible. This was really brought home to me by the powerful and compelling Missing People Christmas carol service which I attended with my family. This is why we at Millwood are proud to be using our extensive network of suppliers, sub-contractors and more than 2000 clients to help raise vital funds and awareness for Missing People”

Matt Wood, CEO & Owner of Millwood Servicing Limited.

Every 90 seconds someone is reported missing in the UK. Missing people is the only charity lifeline for the estimated one million people affected by a disappearance every year. Staff and volunteers work around the clock to take calls, text messages and emails from vulnerable people who are away from home, as well as the families struggling to cope with the disappearance of a loved one.

Somebody is reported missing to the Metropolitan Police every 10 minutes, that’s 145 people each day. Together, Millwood Servicing Ltd and Missing People want to raise awareness of this issue and encourage their network and community to join the search and bring people to safety.

The Missing People charity offers people in crisis a way to reconnect, helps families to cope with a loved one going missing, breaks the cycle of disappearances, and campaigns for change and understanding. If anyone is away from home or thinking of leaving, Missing People’s helpline is available 24/7, 365 days a year on 116 000 for free and in confidence.
