We service all our safety systems in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Section 17. (1) Where necessary in order to safeguard the safety of relevant persons the responsible person must ensure that the premises and any facilities, equipment and devices provided in respect of the premises under this Order or, subject to paragraph (6), under any other enactment, including any enactment repealed or revoked by this Order, are subject to a suitable system of maintenance and are maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in good repair.

We interpret this as the necessity to provide the correct planned preventative maintenance schedules for all life safety equipment within the premises, and as such take this servicing very seriously indeed.

Our Fire Alarm Service engineers have all been trained/retrained in the last 6 months by the UKs’ leading expert on fire alarm systems, Mr. Colin Todd MSc, FIFireE, FBEng, MIRM, MSFPE, C.Phys, FInstP, C.Eng, FIEE of C.S Todd Associates. Colin Todd was personally involved in the preparation and drafting of BS 5839-1:2002 and BS 5839-6:2004 and is widely accepted as the font of all knowledge when it comes to this subject. Our engineers use correct quality controlled and calibrated tools, drive modern fully equipped vehicles and undergo continuous assessment to establish any further training needs or improvements.
